The La Rioja Alta Group was in search of excellence in white wines and they found O Rosal, Pontevedra in 1988. There, they took on the task of shaping the largest estate-owned Albariño vineyard in Rías Baixas, 77 hectares.

Its unique microclimate allows early ripening which, in turn, benefits the quality of Lagar de Cervera, with a perfect ratio of acidity, alcoholic strength, and aromatic intensity.

Tasting Notes

Pale yellow with green hues, very bright. Great aromatic intensity, particularly its varietal nuances of tropical fruits like pineapples & mangoes. Also notes of white pulp fruit, ripe melon, hints of dry grass & hay. Fresh, meaty & well balanced in the mouth. Its aftertaste is persistent with pleasant buttery sensations, complex & well balanced.
