Tasting Notes:
Pacharan is a liqueur almost exclusively made in Navarre, northern Spain, where it is a traditional and very popular after-meal drink, dating back to medieval times.
It is made by macerating the selected blackthorn or sloe berries growing wild (Endrinas) in anise, using the same artisan methods and traditional resources since its beginning.
It is stored in 500-liter oak casks where the sloe berries are macerated for at least six months. The result is an intense ruby color with violet edges. A complex, fruity, sweet, and balsamic nose. Dense and rounded on the palate.
Very intense ruby red color, violet rims, and a medium layer. Fruity, sweet, complex, balsamic, and assembled nose. Dense, voluptuous, and round mouth.
Best served chilled at 6–8ºC, in its purest form, or with ice if preferred as an after-meal drink to aid digestion.
